SICKBAY/HEALTH

Shaping Character, Building Strength and Promoting Well-being At Nabisunsa Girls’ School, we believe that discipline is the foundation of Excellence, sports develop resilience, and health is the cornerstone of effective learning. As Deputy Headteacher in charge of Discipline, Sports, and Health, I am privileged to contribute to a learning environment where students are nurtured to be morally grounded, physically active, and mentally strong.

We support high standards of discipline that foster responsibility, respect, and leadership among our students. Through a balanced approach that combines guidance with accountability, we instill lifelong values that shape not only academic achievers but also principled citizens at global levels.

In sports, our students are encouraged to explore their talents, engage in teamwork, and embrace a spirit of fair competition. Our sporting programs promote physical fitness, mental focus, and confidence attributes that serve our learners well beyond the playing field and even be supported at University level.

Our school sickbay and health services are staffed by caring professionals who prioritize the well-being of every learner and staff. From preventive health education to timely medical care, we ensure that students remain healthy and ready to learn at all times.

Dear students you are reminded that discipline should be your compass, and health your strength, our dear parents, thank you for reinforcing these values at home.

In addition we thank our staff; your guidance and vigilance are deeply appreciated. To our partners across Uganda, Africa, and the globe: we welcome collaborations in student health, sports development, and character education.

Together, we raise confident, healthy, and disciplined young women ready to lead with purpose. All these feeds very well into our school vision which is “A versatile girl-child who is composed, dignified, morally upright and globally competitive.
