Notice 1 — Prequalification & Framework Contracts

Nabisunsa Girls' Secondary School is in the process of prequalifying firms/individuals who will be invited to bid for the supply/provision of goods, works and services during the financial years 2027 to 2028/2029. The school also intends to place framework contracts for the provision of identified supplies during the same period.

The school now invites suitably qualified firms, companies and individuals to submit prequalification applications and bids for framework contracts for the provision of goods, services and works as indicated below.

  • Furniture and fittings
  • Textbooks, students' books and journals

Bidder Instructions

  1. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above items.
  2. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act, and is open to all bidders.
  3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm during official working hours.
  4. The bidding document, prepared in English, may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Only) for Framework Contracts, and UGX 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Only) for Prequalification. Payment method: deposit to school account 9030005843374, Stanbic Bank.
  5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 am on 11th September 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security where applicable.

  5. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 2:00 pm on 10th September 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security (unconditional bank guarantee) in the amount stated above. Bid securities must be valid until 19th April 2027. Late bids shall be rejected.
  6. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend, at the address below, at 3:00 pm on 10th September 2026.
  7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting / site visit as indicated in the table above (site visit is mandatory).
